Design Tickle is an online magazine which publishes inspirational articles for web & mobile professionals. I launched the site with our first post on March 11, 2012 at the 1 year anniversary to the massive 9.0+ earthquake and tsunami which swept through Japan. I feel that much of the content relates to the western world and I can sympathize with the Japanese people.

I’m using the magazine as a case study into social media marketing. I’ve been doing all of the content writing as well as marketing. The original theme design is Tickle by WPBundle which I customized to include sharing badges and an “About the Author” section.

I don’t have any specific long-term goals for the project other than to keep writing and building a small following online. This project was also my first introduction to Pinterest, which is still such an interesting network.
