Launching a New Destiny Islands Layout

Recently we launched a new version of Destiny Islands live on the web. We are working with a brand new designer out of Venezuela who uses DeviantArt productively. This has brought out some great changes in the banner, navigation buttons, and other sidebar widgets.

When we originally put up Destiny Islands back in April 2011 it was very difficult work. Myself and Nathan were working plenty of weekends to churn out game content for all the pages. Also gathering screenshots, official artwork, cutscenes, and other media. It’s been a lot of work.

But I feel like the work has finally paid off, and Destiny Islands is skyrocketing into popularity. We shared some recent traffic stats for July 2012 which demonstrate the power of SEO rankings. Not just for DI, but truly for any projects we’re launching.

In addition the Bodhum Network has grown tremendously in staff members. We are all working together brainstorming new ideas for fansites, blogs, forums, and similar products. I will definitely keep things updated as we launch off new projects.

But focusing on classic video game titles will surely bring about domain names related to Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Harvest Moon, and possibly even Katamari. Maybe.
